Most image tools live on the web, and their results do not automatically become part of a local project. Organizing and backing them up takes extra work. CoreStudio keeps projects, assets, and generated results on your device, ready to view, manage, and back up.
CoreStudio does not reinvent the canvas. Excalidraw already provides a mature, capable open-source canvas for creative and exploratory work. CoreStudio builds on it and adds only what image generation, local asset management, and agent collaboration need.
Image-generation APIs have become affordable enough for personal use. Models such as GPT Image 2 and Nano Banana 2 offer strong value when usage is moderate, while still letting you choose a provider and model and control your budget.
You can also generate images through an agent without configuring an API key in CoreStudio. CoreStudio includes comprehensive CLI support, so products such as Codex can use their own image-generation capabilities and write the results back to CoreStudio. CoreStudio adds no extra charge for this workflow; third-party subscriptions and usage limits still apply.
